More about our puppies and our puppy policies.
All our Australian Shepherd puppies are born and raised inside our
house and are not kenneled at all. The puppies are well socialized
with having been brought up in a house full of cats and dogs and with
the help of our 2 year old niece. All our puppies prior to leaving
us, will have the basics of house training and will have been introduced
to a collar and lead and grooming.
Our primary aim is to get our puppies into good loving homes that
will provide the stimulation and exercise this breed needs, so we
may ask a few questions. This way we can be sure you will be getting
a puppy that is best suited to you and your family.
We also encourage you to ask questions. The more you know about the
breed, the happier you will be with your new puppy.
Where possible we encourage you to come and meet us and the puppies.
You will meet the dam and again, where possible meet the sire.
Our puppies will only go to their new homes when they are 8 weeks
or older.
All our puppies will be KUSA breed registered.
All puppies will have their eyes tested at 6 weeks of age.
They will all be de-wormed and vaccinated and micro chipped before
leaving us.
Each puppy will go to its new home with eye certificates, KUSA registration
paper, vaccination/de-worming card and micro chip certificate and
records.
Please
Note!!
WE DO NOT SUPPORT THE BREEDING
OF MINIATURES AND WILL NOT KNOWINGLY SELL TO KENNELS OR BREEDERS OF
MINIATURES OR TOYS.
There are no varieties to the Australian
Shepherd Breed. KUSA (Kennel Union of Southern Africa), AKC (American
Kennel Club), ASCA (Australian Shepherd Club of America and registry
for Australian Shepherd) do not recognize or register miniatures.
Nor do ASCA or AKC register them as a breed. They are incorrectly
promoted as a variety of the Australian Shepherd Breed.
